I was a 10 year old living in New Zealand when I started to have regular highland dancing lessons.
Tuition in ballet was added the following year.

By the age of 16 I had gained my membership of the Royal Academy of Dancing (now Royal Academy of Dance).

I then returned to Scotland and achieved my dream of winning the Adult World Highland Dancing Championship.

At this time I was also dancing in Theatre shows, gained my Membership and then Fellowship of the United Kingdom Alliance.

I met my entertainer husband, Joss Esplin, while dancing at the Tivoli Theatre in Aberdeen.

A brief spell back in New Zealand was followed with more successful examinations with the British Ballet Organization and the New Zealand Academy of Piping and National Dancing Inc.

Joss and I returned to Scotland to continue our career with television, theatre, tours to Canada and America,
hotel entertainment work, and have 2 sons.
